I’m in a quandary. MST is a passing team so bad weather can help us. But their defense has been good against the run.

I like RU chances here. One cause for trepidation - The Spartans are coming off a bye week. In the end, RU is the better-coached team. MSU loses it on turnovers and untimely penalties. RU 27-16.

RU wins this nail-biter 24-17 largely on the efforts of a terrific defensive performance, with two take-aways leading to scores. I want to give our offense more credit but I think you'll see the same Gavin you've seen all season with only moderate tweaks in the (offensive) gameplan. Thus, he may appear a bit more comfortable and confident. I just don't think that it translates to more points or a (greater than) 200 yard performance.

You are definitely confusing me with someone else. I have been pretty much down the middle with schiano.
I feel Michigan state’s offense will play well and we won’t get the turnovers we need . I don’t believe in our offense.

MSU coming off a bye week, bouncing off rock bottom, and likely debuting a new qb. All scenarios that should give any long time RU fan PTSD. I’m not predicting. But I will say it would be great to get these monkeys off our back.
not that i care, but never once have i said something about that program good or bad. it’s amusing that somehow i’ve been labeled a Cuse fan.
if anything, the incorrect opinion should be that I’m a Nittany Lion fan because i’ve often said positive things about the academic and athletic programs there which are unrelated to the scandal. i find the rampant PSU scorn here to be puerile jealousy of a profoundly superior football program one state over.
if the same scandal happened anywhere else but PSU, nobody here would have the same outrage, proving it’s our little brother Remus Complex more than anything else. All BIG10 universities are top notch. Being an everything PSU hater over something that happened 20 years ago is pathetic. Be disgusted by JS and JP all you like, same as me, but that’s where the hate should end.
