Minnesota has some of their injured players back on the court which is bad news for Rutgers.
They have one guy back, Garcia their main guy, they still look terrible. Watched them against Maryland, take the last 5 minutes of the game for us last night they look like that for 35 mins a game. Turnovers everywhere

Yeah, I agree, they're still not very good and won't present much of a problem to Rutgers...

I hope you are correct, but we will need to bring it to make sure there is no upset.

But first, beat Penn State! It's not a bad matchup for us if Caleb is able to play. We will need to be smarter with the ball on offense.

You're kidding. Want a list-- Nebraska sucks, we're favored by 5.5 over MIchigan, our last six games are our easiest of year, what seed are we.
Nebraska does suck, we were favored by 5.5 over Michigan, and our last six games were/are the easier part of our Big Ten schedule.

That's all true. It doesn't mean you can't still play badly and lose. We lost to Lafayette last year.. that doesn't mean Lafayette didn't suck.

Stop this BS game after game-- everyone sucks and are easy wins--No -- big ten teams are not easy and we play them at their home after a not so easy travel.
Yes, you are right. As a matter of fact, I was convinced after the first ten minutes of the Maryland/Minnesota game that Minnesota was, in fact, recharged and and revitalized and was going to win that game. I should have put it differently...

Playing Sunday on the road followed by a game Tuesday on the road is not practical. You literally would have no time to prep for your next opponent if you travel on Monday.
Add to that the predicted winter storm conditions everywhere including MN Mon-Wed. But maybe we'd be better off playing at MN on Tuesday and then having a longer break before NW game at home. That's why I don't think this decision was about any advantage to Rutgers or avoiding a disadvantage. I think we'd have better chance to win both games if we acceded to the request.

I love that the only petty come back they have is to kick us out of the conference as we continuing to absolutely trounce their university on the court. And to be so naive as a reporter to not realize Minnesota doesn’t care about results at this point and MSU only wants to play to get an extra win at the expense of Rutgers is ASTOUNDINGLY bad reporting

she is an ahole, never liked her and her cohorts and the media will retweet and agree with it. The comments in the thread are predictable. Boo hoo, let Msu and minny play consecutive days

maybe if the Big 10 didnt bend over backwards for Izzo giving them a FULL WEEK off to prepare for RU at MSG then there would have been more room at the end of the season

Lets get the text messages out about that deal and how of all teams, it was Michigan State. How did that happen...and remember RU then forced to play 2 games against the top 2 preseason teams on the road. Think things happen by accident in this league?

they just want to blame someone and we’re an easy target . simple as that . it’s no one’s fault; just those two teams should figure it out as it involves those two

MSU has
two more road games
two more home games
their Senior night is unimpacted... it takes places as originally planned.
no one should be stomping their feet for an extra game...

so, this all boils down to fans selfishly wanting 1 extra chance to pound their chests -- -and they hide behind actual tragedy as their excuse about "fairness" or something...

it's kinda disgusting to see how some of the media is buying into all this...

the desperation to find someone, anyone, to blame is sad...

I understand why they want to reschedule the Minnesota game, given the current frenzy in the standings. But they are basically the ones who cancelled it. The burden should be on them to reschedule it, however inconvenient it might be, without burdening a team that had nothing to do with the cancellation...

This is hilarious .. they can just simply *not play* the game .. why must this game be rescheduled?? They’re making it like the tragedy happened and we are playing MSU the next day and don’t want to postpone a game with them .. ridiculous! The options are make our team play 2 road games in 3 days, or just simply cancel the MSU game, it’s not a hard thing
