Spot on. Our seniors are not mentally strong. We played like **** after the tOSU and Minny loss.
Who cares ? Winning that tournament is about the same as losing in first round

It doesn’t help . Caleb is gone. . Most other guys are veterans. Cliff who knows and it won’t help him much. Same with Paul and Hyatt…maybe maybe Simpson and AW.
I mean in 2004 we made a great run in NIT. Then we sucked balls after that and coach was canned less than 2 years later
I find it hard to believe guys will be jazzed to play Youngstown State in a completely meaningless game
If everyone (other than Mag) is healthy, I think we can win it. Depends on the mental game here. Like wrestlers losing an early tournament match...the tough kids wrestleback to 3rd or 4th place...doing it the hard way. Today, we became a seeded wrestler who dropped their first match...let's see where we go now. And...recruits may be watching! GO RU ALWAYS!!!

not watching the NIT. Not watching the NCAA tournament either. Totally don't care about any of it anymore for this season.
I will watch the NIT game(s) but I won’t plan my life around them like I would for NCAA tournament games. I will still watch the NCAA tournament too

I mean, we might be the best team in the NIT. We are at least one of the best few teams. We did not play up to our potential in terms of wins and losses this season.
Those are my Knights, you know I will follow any game they play wearing that uniform. If we play like we are trying to prove we belonged, we will make a run. If we pout about the snub, we won't. I vote for bringing the fire.

Agreed...we do not have the pedigree of Michigan or North Carolina. Hell, we have no bigtime athletic pedigree at all. Days like today should illustrate to us what most of the college athletics world thinks of RU...they don't! Any chance we can use to show we belong, should be taken seriously IMO. GO RU!

I have been a fan since Lloyd and Valvano and will attend the games. I know we are disappointed but I will forever root for our guys and I hope they can rise to the occasion and play to win each and every game. Jest a few years ago we would have given anything to play in the NIT. We need to show that we are a very good team.
