I myself have been saying all year that barker is better. Have my own sources inside practice that tell me he's light years better than towles the staff just stuck with towles for so long because they're overly loyal towards his seniority. So to say the least it wouldn't surprise me.That his sources tell him that the offense has been looking much sharper this week in practice with Barker at QB.
Take it for what it's worth.

A good friend of mine, is a former football player who goes to many of the practices. That same guy, is also my neighbor so I see him daily. You can take it with a grain of salt idc at all if you believe it or not. That's your choice. Doesn't change the facts to me.Can't believ all these new insiders with all the inside info coming out,it's a beautiful thing..........
I have never been to practice and could have told you the offense looked better under Barker. That his sources tell him that the offense has been looking much sharper this week in practice with Barker at QB.

If we beat the worst team in college football by just seven points, we are in deep, deep trouble as an SEC football program.Wow, man, if this is really true, then I am totally PUMPED for the big game this Saturday with UnCC. I want to see our offense go OFF against Charlotte and I want to see AIR RAID explode so I can hear that big siren go off when we score!!
UK 27
UNCC-21
I'm calling it now!

See results against EKU and ULL. We aren't good.If we beat the worst team in college football by just seven points, we are in deep, deep trouble as an SEC football program.

It took em awhile to come up with that conclusion didn't it?Just the Hawthorne effect in a way. Everyone will be watching to see how the team looks with the QB so the team will alter their behavior in a positive way. Don't know if it will last for 2 more weeks. At least Barker will get some reps and for sure that will carry over
to the UL game which is really the goal. There's no doubt UK would beat Charlotte with PT at the controls .. however, it appears the staff now thinks Barker gives them the best shot against UL

I went to several of the practices before the season started and I thought Towles looked considerably better than Barker. However, they had no pressure on them from the defense. It has become obvious that Towels does not do well under pressure and unfortunately, our OL allows a lot of pressure. We had to give Barker a chance. Hopefully, he gets comfortable against UNCC and comes out ready to play against UofL.
That's a good one....!!! Two thumbs up for "Woody"Ryan Lemon makes Woody in Cheers look like a Rhodes Scholar. Take it for whats it worth.
what risk? Barnhart gave him huge extention. So riddle me this grasshopper, why does Stoops risk a 3 million dollar job for PT to start?

This crap about Barker reading defenses better, who in the hell knows? we have hardly seen him in action, much less see him go through progressions while under pressure or receivers tightly covered. and then there is the "dropsies" that the receivers have.
