Definitely gonna have to get use to seeing that.....they still look to run the ball but i do like the added balance.....its about becoming comfortable passing so when we run into the tougher teams deep in playoffs and the run is shut down we will not be taken out of our comfort zone like in the past

Midway i guess since they are in our conference.....Union has been on the rise in recent years should be ok again this year....Lakewood has a MLB and this kid gets after it pure headhunter named Luke Brewer watched him the other night at the scrimmage kid was in every play......but in all honesty im here for Clinton and Clinton only wanna see that defense improve from the other night and continue to watch the spread air raid develop
Going to watch WRH tonight to see the new look Bulldogs and prepare myself for a week 1 loss

Looks like we still missing AJ Williamson,Chase Faison,JK transfer D McLellan and looks like Evans is out tonight aswell.....dont see Zion out there either
Looks like Taylor Daniel injured aswell hope nothing to bad he was our lone returning d linemen with experience....also plays big role on offensive line
First offense on the field against Lakewood not looking good right now....offensive line no push even when we in the T
After struggling a couple plays Smith had a strong run......Williams hit Brock on a nice play action pass
First session against Lakewood over Clinton scored once.....hope defense looks better not to pleased with offense even though still missing some key guys definitely didnt look as sharp as we did Wednesday night
Defense looks better than the other night moved Khari Williams to DE and looks like its making a difference.....everyone flying to the ball
Clinton defense holds Hobbton scoreless in first defensivw session looking alot more engaged.......offense will be talking on Midway next session looking to see some better line play
Offense looking better Sophmore Jahiem Faison scored on a nice run up muddle cut back to right side but called back due to hold......Williams hit Lesane on a nice TD pass after a good run by Smith
Faison in for the score a couple seconds left in the session..... Williams nice scramble for about 20-25 as time expires.....Clinton scored twice
Clinton defense holds Union scoreless....hats off to the coaches for those adjustments they made and effort by kids really getting after it tonight
First session after halftime.....Clinton holds Lakewood to 1 score....bended alil bit bit didnt totally break looks like those counters Lakewood runs gave us a lil trouble up front
Clinton offense moves it easily on Hobbton Faison scores 2nd team going in now.......2nd team scores on first play the other sophmore Williams takes it in
Faison takes it in for another score after he had some good runs......kid has got some wiggle nice speed on the outside
End of session Clinton scored 4 times.......#5 and #8 are going to be alright both have some moves
Clinton offense final session of the night so far scored 2 times passes from Williams to Barwick and Lesane
Overall good showing by Clinton....started off slow on offense but looked better as the night continued Kris Williams threw the ball well Lesane,Ellis,Brock, and Barwick all made good plays.....Jaylen Smith was Jaylen Smith running over folks didnt get too many carries but when he did made em count.....excited about these sophmore RBs #5 Faison and #8 Williams both smaller backs but in space very fast both have moves.....O line got better as the night progressed....still missing starters Chase Faison and Taylor Daniel..........defense looked great tonight tackled well good push good persuit to the ball....moving Khari to DE made a huge difference his speed off the edge.....good night of football very pleased ready for the real deal next week
I'm not quite as optimistic yet but it's still early. In the old days, you would have never had this much live scrimmage this soon. It's just August 11th! There is plenty of potential out there and we have the coaching staff to help them fulfill that potential. I think it's going to be fun to see this team improve weekly as the season progresses.
Again, tonight perfect weather for football.

Just thought we looked better defensively than we did the other night only allowed 2 scores against 4 other teams.....of course Hobbton,Union, and Midway aren't exactly Cape fear,East Bladen,and Northside Jax but its a start...still alot of room for improvement on both sides of the ball and of course gotta factor in Special teams play aswell.....heres to a good week of practice this upcoming week and hopefully we get healthy couple kids we need banged up

I thought the Leopards were very good Wednesday and tonight. Nothing against Union, Hobbton, and Midway, but the scrimmage Wednesday was against better teams and everyone performed better.
