Lumberton has had 2 close games. One vs a 2-4 Westover and the other against a 2-4 jack Britt. They are 1-5. Don't think they'll overcome the Patriots clock running offense. But "on any given night..."

The game versus South View was only close at the end after the second string was put in. It was 41-22 at the half. 2 late scores against back ups made it seem closer than it was.

I beg to differ. Was at that game. Emory got hurt in the 2nd but the starters played that entire game. Not like they are going to sub when a team is closing a gap like that. 4 pt game and played the 2nd string. come on man. Not taking anything away from them and they control their own destiny but their offense can put points on the board but they need to make sure against a big time offense that they can match up. Big win against the colts

so south view had back ups in, in the entire 4th quarter which started with them up 17 after they had given up 14 and 16 in the previous 2 quarters. .. Really...

they had a lot repurcity,Bryce the Lumberton QB is some kinda athlete, he can sure sling it on the run. He just has NO HELP. No blocking or he'd be dropping back every snap making plays. Spends that time running for his life.

definitely agree. I thought they abandoned the run to soon to go to the pass. They were running it good on them then tried to air it out and like you said the protection was a problem. But when you keep getting penalized you have no choice.
