...CKeen is where in schedule? Are we routinely going to wrestle "two" teams somewhere?

Old number Nine is correct. This is the norm and since we share the arena with basketball (Men's and women's) it is delayed. It is maddening when many of us want to make arrangements for tickets, transportation, rooms, etc.
Exactly, although making arrangements for me is putting the dog out and gassing up the car. Sometimes it's a little bit of an ordeal getting my wife out of in front of her mirror and into the car... ah, c'est la vie.

Big 12 tourney will be the first individual of the season. Does the National Duals require a weigh-in both days?

I like it. There are a lot of things I want in a schedule, but you can't have it all. I would have loved to go to Vegas as a fan, but its hard to gripe too much when we have National Duals right down the road with such a loaded field. That is going to be a lot of fun. It would have been too hard on the guys to do Vegas and National Duals.

I would have also liked to see a big road swing through the northeast for recruiting reasons, but would hate to take away duals from Gallagher. With football in the tank, home duals are the only chance I have to get up there these days. This is the best home lineup we have seen in several years.

November 7 can't get here soon enough!

Wouldnt be surprised if something else got thrown in there.

Pretty good drought from Nov 7th to Jan 11th as far as home duals but then a nice stretch of solid home duals for sure. Someone told me they thought Coach Taylor wanted to schedule as many home duals as possible when the students would for sure be on campus.

13 duals plus paycom duals and no tournament. So about 17 matches heading into big 12. Taking the Cael approach. Iowa will have one more dual and the salute so about 22 matches heading into big 10s.
Yeah, I’m curious about that. I was under the idea that we were going to be above 20 up to 25 and get guys some matches and help determine the March hunting party.

15-18 for the starters is a good thing IMO.

Theres opens along the way and I'm pretty sure the Scuffle is happening so more guys getting more matches to see who's hungry.

I meant matches “under the lights.”

Those opens don’t really amp up fanbases or tell a whole lot in many instances.
No but with any weight that is up in the air so to speak any matches will be closely examined by the staff. For example at the Michigan State Open hopefully guys like Ramirez and Robideau and others hit a top 15 guy. If some top recruits get to the Scuffle we could see it there as well.

Yeah, I know that…but how cool was it for Hughes getting a pin at GIA?

I’ll venture to say it really helped with his “want to.”

Plus, I really like going to tourneys!

Come on just admit it you like going to Vegas.
Man, was in Vegas last year for the George Strait concert and stumbled into the fact CKLV was going on too. Has made me a wrestling junkie since. Surely a world exits where we can do it and NDI right?! Seems like a small ask;)

Eh, not really! I don’t really gamble much. The shows and food are good. But I wasn’t there for food, but I got a good show.

I should probably tell my story about dinner at Nobu. It’s not flattering though.

Dang no Scuffle, Cliff Keen, anything like that. I guess it's the new way. 2-4 duals a month is a pretty good schedule though.
according to the coaches tonight, the hold up on vegas is whether or not the national duals is going to cout as one event or two... If its only one we can expect a large group to go to Vegas. I told him that the fans would appreciate knowing about tournaments as early as possible to plan for travel and also to have an idea about who is going to go as travelling accross the country expecting to see some fireworks only to find out nobody sent their starters can be frustrating for some.

I was also told this about what the events count as.
