Statistically, East has a marginally better offense and a significantly better defense than central. I'll take East.

Like I wrote, Central has a much better O. You have to consider strength of schedule and Central played up early in the season. I say Central wins by 7 points. Only time will tell.

Who did WC play non conference wise but a bunch a 3A nobody's. Patton is the only one that will make the playoffs and they will be 1 and done.

To be fair East Wilkes non conference schedule and the results were pretty unimpressive. I'm not one to get into comparing scores and schedules just going off what I see. However, If WC doesn't figure that defense out, East wins.

East Wilkes is going to embarrass WC next week. That defense is horrendous.

Maybe, but if you're basing that on them struggling against Elkin for a half, remember that no team brings its best game when they're playing a weak team and have a very strong opponent the next week. Surry Central gave up 38 to South Stokes last week, in between holding Carver to 6 and North Surry to 21. Both WC and EW can attest that Surry Central doesn't have a bad defense just because they allowed 38 to South Stokes.

WC's defense is horrible regardless of who they play. However, WC can easily score 40+ on any given night as well.
