Two games that stood out for me.
Madison beating N. Buncombe 47-24 and Maiden beating beating Watauga 47-0. Not that it was a surprise win for Maiden but the score was. Maiden will be a force.
Madison usually not that good but had a big win over N. Buncombe.
What is your surprise game of the night.

One gets goose egged…the other goes out and scores more.

Hobbton/Trask on NFHS, not Midway/Hobbton. Amazing, Midway QB tied or set state record for TDs responsible one week and shutout the next. Nuts.

Beyond belief!

Midways’ QB breaks the record for TD passes in a game with 10 and Hobbton’s QB ties the record with 9.

It appears that the Hobbton QB has now broken the new record…. in the game with Trask!

Do what????

The jury’s still out on the Bulldogs. We’re 2-0 against two teams that are a combined 0-4. Hopefull, we’ll be able to play Forbush next week. That should tell if we’re any good. Anybody crowing in Thomasville is premature.

Hey I'm all for it. Long as we don't get delayed by traffic. It gets crazy around China Grove.😁

I'm hoping we fix the fg kicking. That's killed us in games the past few years.

Keeping this thread going instead of starting a new one. I was looking at different games to see if I seen any surprising scores for this week. As of now I only seen one that stuck out. East Lincoln only beating Lincolnton 14-8. Maybe E. Lincoln isn’t quite as good or Lincolnton played up better than I gave them credit. Does anyone have any surprise games they seen.

I was shocked by these scores I need verification. Anyone know what happened?
E Alamance & W Alamance are two good programs, losing is one thing, being blown out and shut out is another.
N Guilford 50, Eastern Alamance 0
E Guilford 50, Western Alamance 0
