The Scots travel to Fayetteville this week to play the Falcons. Both are 2-0
in conference over 3 of the traditional bottom tier teams. They have one common
opponent in Hoke. SF 35-0, Scot 28-27. Scotland looks to have Mcqueen back full
time this week as verse Hoke he was dressed and sat the entire game before
entering for the final 3 plays, all shotgun wildcat: a run, a td run, a 2pt conv. run.
SF has breezed over its 2 conf opponents. This looks to be a very difficult road game
for the Scots. They must play much much better after escaping this past Friday night.
The 7 year 2 game conf win streak is in jeopardy this week, can the Scots find a way
to get it done one more time ? Thoughts, opinions
Will the weather have an effect, possibly play in the rain or delay until Saturday/Monday.
TBD.....GO SCOTS.....

The Scots do not look to be getting better from week to week. McQueen being out surly hurts. SC has very difficult opp in 3 of the next 4 weeks and on the road at that. To be honest, 2-2 would be respectable.

Scotland obviously hadn’t improved any with that win over the mighty Rams week four , I remember your texts in quarter 2 saying this game is over ,
i guess the rams scored late in the 4th to get to double digits in that game .

Scotland was the better team on that field

FALCONS fly away tonight... I hope I'm wrong. ..I think they cap the run...can Scotland pass...I dunno. This game will be more interesting than Bucks and RAIDERS. . GO SCOTS.

Enjoy it....that defense returns 8 starters. Of those 8, 3-4 are sophomores or freshmen depending on the night.

Are you serious??? I know a win is a win, but you act like the Dirty Birds dominated this game , NOT!!!!! I give 71st their props, they converted on our turnovers and we didn't capitalize on theirs, but you better play better than that if you expect to beat the Raiders.

All in all neither team played good...that was a sloppy game.I can't remember so many mistakes and turnovers in a game...the score turned out about right.

Well...you just wait til next year...I think I've heard that before. From Raider folks and Scotland folks... I think it's the latter's turn now...GO RAIDERS. however...the two haven't met this year ... yet.

Scots played great first half on defense. Secondary was average for us. Second half, all our own mistakes. We are not a bad team, we just make stupid mistakes that can be EASILY corrected. Could have won this game easily if we just had not made so many correctable mistakes

Why isn't Bailey making those easy correction? You are 6-7 games in those corretions should have been made . I always like when people say "oh if you take away the reasons we lost we would have won"

Think about it...Hoke gave Scotland a fit...Scotland gave 71st a fit... 71st and Richmond beats Hoke by 88-0, Pinecrest is just waiting in the wings and probably getting well...I don't know...interesting. 4a... 4aa... East... west... GO RAIDERS! !!

Yep 71st is who I've said they are....better than Scotland. We played our worst game of the season and still won. One minute we will win next minute we are down. Everything doesn't last forever. As for being down, 71st lost there best back against southern durham....they didn't cry just went on and played ball.

@luv of d game I really was confused a little when it was 0-0 at halftime... Then the turnovers...you would think that game was played in the mud. Strange. I know 71st is better than that and I'd advise Richmond and anyone. ..Don't GO to sleep on em. They are a better team than that

Poor guy, lost a running back. Scotland has lost 5 starters for the season. The fact they are even in the game with a title contender says a lot. We heard that “worst game of the year” last year after game 1. Game 2 looked really similar.

71st showed they lack the offensive fire power they had last year. Richmond’s offense will not miss opportunity after opportunity. Richmond is the clear favorite, anyone at the game last night would objectively argue that Scotland and 71st are neck and neck and miles behind Richmond at the moment. I think 4-8 are about equal on any given night.

The small 4A is wide open for the taking, as no one looks the part at this time.

Everyone has injuries. Last week we had 11 not dress out because of injuries. Probably 7-8 that hasn't played a snap this year including our top WR stanback Edwards who was the starting LB #99 starting DL. #1 Terry been in and out all year. We don't embrace excuses we look for solutions! !

East Forsyth and Vance (if both go small 4A) would be the class of the field IMO.
