I do, but I was reacting to posting the Geneva convention which refers to armed forces. Point being, I'm not sure these supposed terrorists are protected by that convention.

I know we're doing it, I assume that DoD with a gazillion lawyers has analyzed the case and determined it is, I know some of our elected officials support it and some don't, no one has filed an article of impeachment yet, I suspect someone will file a lawsuit, I suspect some lower court judge will issue a restraining order, that order will be appealed and I don't know where it goes from there.
Wasn’t what I was asking. Was mainly just pointing out that the method by which they kill people reportedly hanging to wreckage doesn’t matter. I also think you put more faith in this administration listening to its lawyers more than I do. Having read more it sounds like this didn’t qualify for Geneva bc it wasn’t an armed conflict from both sides. But honestly seems worse to me. Feels like straight murder killing people floating on wreckage (again assuming it happened as reported).

That’s cool on the Naval War College. My grandpa went to the National War College (he was Army, artillery) and always spoke highly of it. It was the interagency one.

problem with the law is that everyone gets to interpret what it means. Don't agree? just look at the circuit court decisions overturned by appeals courts in all the Trump cases. Same law, different interpretation.
