Jeremy Liggins is the latest casualty, going to yet ANOTHER JUCO. I know Mullen wanted him (hopefully for the talent), but he just doesn't seem to be able to do what he needs to do to play. Add him to the two JUCO DL guys (Combs and Cummings was it?), then another JUCO Witchett. Brandon Hill and Finesse Middleton has come and gone, and it seems Peyton Barber and Jarran Reed are history as well. I'm sure I'm missing someone. I fully realize they're are miraculously going to sign Treadwell and Nkemdiche though. Makes you wonder where the big boys are here, if there's a reason they aren't putting the full court press on these guys.

Then Brassell and Alford...are they coming or are they not?

In other recrootin news, Javess Blue committed to Kentucky.

The Reb's seem to be doing fine. They are very aggressive so they are gonna lose out on some. Kind of like the guy at the bar that hits on all the chicks, sometimes you leave with the fat ugly one at the end of the night.

He's got much work to do though. I'll believe Brassell will play when I see it. But if there's anybody who can get somebody eligible, it is definitely that bunch.

They aren't gonna change their approach. They love recruiting almost as much as they love playing
the actual games. It is very important to them and Yancy does a great job of whipping them into a frenzy.

Why doesn't he just go play pro baseball and try to get big money w a MLB team? He and Golson(sp). Makes no sense to me.

chill railin. cummings and brandon hill are the only ones you mention that we've "lost". classes start the 22nd i believe. alford is in the process of moving and brassell has left juco...he has no other place to go than oxford. hate to see liggins have to go to juco but he'll be in oxford next january i expect with 4 to play 3. its going to be interesting to see how we finish but right now things are looking pretty good.

brassel can't go anywhere but oxford at this time. he will

have to graduate from juco to go anywhere else.

You do know that Liggins has to either make his ACT score this year or graduate next year? It's going to be hard to do even for next spring if he's only taking part time classes. Also, the list of loses is around six (there's been other treads about a month ago). You'll have a nice recruiting class, but the disappointment has just begun. Alford is a good get, but somebody's going to get there feelings hurt sooner rather than later if you bring in three QBs.

Doesn't Liggins have until next Fall to make his ACT score? Seems like he could take it 10 times b/t now an then.

I think that should have to be considered as an extension of the I'm Leaving rule, and enforceable.

Or the same bunch that got Dontae Jones eligible, I know it's not worth the fight but, We All Do It.

Go back if you care to and read his quotes atnthe time. We did not "lose" him. And before u lump me in with anybody else I'm perfectly willing to acknowledge when we get beaten for a recruit. .

Which means he is confident that he has more more commits than he has spots.

I may be wrong about what liggins has to do. I'll assume you are correct. Alford is not being brought in as a QB. Athlete. And I agree we will have a "nice" class. Kind of like moncrief is a "decent" receiver. LOL

He said Brassell has work to do. That has nothing to do with him going to OM b/c of his juco status. He is already enrolled at OM, so he doesn't have work to do to get enrolled. Goat is insinuating that Brassell does not have the grades to be eligable if i am reading b/t the lines correctly. I am just wondering how he got inside information on a kids grades.
