Hey guys. I work with Shelby Christy's uncle and he gave me some very good news. He says Mullen and a recruiter came by the Christy house and had dinner this past weekend and stayed for a couple of hours. When they left Shelby came out wearing a MSU shirt and said it was a done deal. Says he is thru with LSU. Evidently the corndogs werent entirely honest with him.

Good to hear. Louisiana is a very underrated area for football talent. Glad to see we're spending some time down there. Throwing out the records, I've always said that pound for pound year after year, LSU is going to have one of the best looking and most athletic teams in the country, no matter how well they play together or are developed on the field.
Why would you say that Louisiana is an underrated area for football talent? They produce more NFL players per capita than any other state.
Umm, because of what you just said there, genius. They have tons of top talent, but it's Georgia, Florida, Texas, etc. that people come from far and wide to recruit.
I know LSU gets the lion's share, but there's plenty to go around. Arkansas and MSU are finally coming around to this. Ole Miss has gotten good guys from there for years.
