Shelby High principal said on radio @ half that Shelby was up at 900 students this year . Said Shelby gained 65-70 students this year . The way this split championship is , he still doesn't know which class they will be in , 2A or 2AA !
Don’t jinx it. I’m hoping we play you guys. Reidsville will have it too easy again, if we’re Big 2A.

lol...sounds like y'all had a tough one like us...congrats...........think people all over the place are itching for a Reidsville/Shelby matchup...hope the 900 figure is wrong...........................but hey you still may be 2A with all the bigger schools that have moved down a classfication this year...time will tell....if it happens it will be either a 3rd or 4th round matchup.................................
In all seriousness, if we do meet up, it will be one epic match up. Both defences are very good. Our offense is really clicking. It will be one for the ages
Agreed, but while we’re getting our “Reidsville” on, playing cupcakes, it will give us an opportunity to work and fine tune the offense. The offense is going to look a lot better playing 2A opponents, anyway. I’m still very optimistic about this team. You appreciate this team’s potential more when you see what teams we have defeated are doing to opposition.

And like Lion Attack says we start the fine tuning of the offense , tonight showed too.

Hopefully, it happens. You guys were talking so much “ish” in that “Shelby Lions” thread, you’re really feeling yourselves, some of you. The Mule even threw a jab at my son. His qb rating is currently low, he’s battled some tough opposition, but through it all, and most importantly, we
stand 5-1. And, remember, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish, no. 12 will be just fine, his current stats aren’t a true indication of his play. Heck, if we played the cupcakes y’all have played, our players stats would be inflated, too.
Morehead and McMichael are garbage but the rest of the teams we've played have done very well. Rockingham is 5 and 2. Reynolds and Magna Vista haven't lost since our game.
It’s all good, I truly respect your program. You guys obviously have a great team, but don’t drink that “Shelby is down koolaid”, like a few of you Reidsville guys have. I’ve even seen where you’ve said, “we don’t beat teams 21-14, a jab at us. We’re a whole different animal now that we are playing 2A opposition again. Please believe it.

Looks like the bussing in elemetary school kids and counting janitors for ADM has started.
Nice finally playing a team in our class after playing up 9 games in a row including the #7 team in the nation. 3 more weeks fine tuning then we play the undefeated defending 3A state champ. No wonder our SOS is #1 in 2A and #10 in the state. (Reidsville is #18 and #159...smh)

I’m going to keep it in Realville. Chase would not have beaten our JV in all seriousness. Our line has to show me they can protect against a decent team. This game was good for timing with QB and WR’s but Chase was so bad it was almost like 12 had on a red jersey working on routes in practice. I hope these next 3 weeks don’t give us a false sense of reality.
I really liked the way Shelby came out focused last night after going from playing a top ten team in the country to a really bad 2a team.If we play up or down really doesn't matter to me but I know there are some great 2a teams out there with Reidsville,North Davidson,Newton Conover,Hibriten,and of course the undefeated 3a champs South Point who we will see soon enough.
Would you not want to play Reidsville the most, though? We’re both defending state champs, and some of their fans have bragged about how they will blow us out this year, if we were to meet, saying this while playing Chase every week in their conference. Coincidentally, all those teams you mentioned, with the exception of Reidsville, will be most definitely 2AA, great teams, nonetheless.

nobody and I mean nobody in Reidsville has said the Rams would blow out Shelby...we simply think we have a great team and program and that last year and this years games would be a battle of giants.....geez Lion Attack trying for a little bulletin board material?? you guys don't need it..............

Would that person know the difference between all metal cleats (which are not allowed) and metal tipped cleats which may be allowed?
