With all the returning starters next year and decent JV team this year filling in and growing I can’t see him leaving after this year. Maybe year after that or something.

Sometimes the money is more important than winning. Ware is coaching his Alma mater in the town he grew up in. Big fish in a relatively big pond. He has been very successful at Shelby. Not a lot more to prove there. I can see him wanting new challenges and a bigger paycheck. Sometimes you have to make the jump when the offers are there. Regardless what you are leaving behind.

Big question I have is, Who is in line to succeed him? Norman was groomed to succeed Taylor, Ware was groomed to succeed Norman. Who is next?

Hard to imagine N-C having the horses to score more than 10-14 points against the Shelby D. Shelby O has struggled against top line defenses but N-C does not have a top line defense.Shelby wins, probably by at least 2 scores.

Can't blame Ware. He has given his all to Shelby. He's a Hall of Famer along with many he coached.

Please promise me this, don't hire a wussie!

Im pretty close to Ware, i told him last yr, we hate to lose him, but i couldnt blame him.
Besides a good coach, hes one of best planers, organizer ive seen.
He changed alot with Shelby FB.
Its been a great run.

If Newton had Stintson I think they would have a legit shot and they woulda beat Maiden by 2 or more tds. He’s best running back I’ve seen this year other than Gee Witherspoon

When I can't attend the game, just go to the team schedule page on Maxpreps and you can track the game Live. You don't get video or audio, but the box score updates along with big plays and turnovers. It's better than nothing!
