Man that is absolutely crazy. Traditions like that make college sports so much fun. Even at a small school you can really enjoy the environment if the majority of the fans are willing to act a bit foolish.
One more thing: I wonder if a bunch of old farts complained when this tradition first started. "They should all be focusing on the game and better coaches instead of this gimmicky ****!"
Just sit in your chair and watch the team play the damn game! Our traditions speak for themselves!

Something tells me you would still listen to rappers singing about '17 the police' or 'die whitey' if you were in to rap... or racist rednecks singing about Old Glory and the south shall rise again... or that you still enjoy the occasional Michael Jackson song even though the dude probably molested kids.

I didn't say those songs called for the slow and painful deaths of Americans... nice side-step. I can understand you being sick of an overplayed song, though... to each his own.
