Rambbq, I think Reidsville covered the Simmons spread in 14 of their 16 games last year. Could you check this for me? I know they did not cover the Rockingham County spread this year. Probably because the Cougars are a much, much improved team.

Reidsville plays a top 10 va team tonight and 4aa northwest Guilford next week.

Va football isn't that strong, Reidsville wins big tonight but that's beside point, I just find it interesting that he called Shelby out, he's obviously been in his feelings seeing us no.1 in every poll.

But, let's be honest here, Reidsville hasn't been ranked as high as it should in the polls, because it's obvious they have been holding the weak opposition against them.

Could have pulled it off this season, it would have been a huge gate. We desperately needed to add another team to our schedule, we had an opening, but a South Carolina powerhouse was the target for resume reasons.

Well, it is considering the number of teams that moved down from the 3A ranks. The thinking from general conversation I've had with a couple of people is that we will be 2AA again, but maybe we won't include the janitors and lunchroom employees in our ADM count again.

Seriously, though, it's kind of sad to see a traditional powerhouse's numbers on the decline like that. Shelby's numbers were plummeting at one time, so much so it looked as if we were headed for 1A, I was so disappointed that I told myself, if that were to happen, I would no longer support my alma mata, but of course, I wouldn't take it that far. I was disappointed when we dropped to the 2A ranks. And, speaking of traditional powerhouses, I never imagined South Point becoming 2A, I guess it's just the sign of the times we're living in.

40 points although I have no idea how he comes up with a point spread vs out of state team. Magna Vista has been a very good program over the years but this game is somewhat of an unknown.

As you can tell, as a former school board member, I am not a fan of the current crowd. If I wasn't just too darn old, I would make an effort to upset a few of them and kick some jazz over in Wentworth.

Oops, edited to note the school board headquarters is in Eden. Just seems like it is in Wentworth along with Rockingham County High.
