No. This was all i could find. Not sure if its correct or not because it didnt even have Kurt Odom on the list. I haven't ever seen Kurt on any list. Why is that?

Riley had 4,000 now. Had 2,000 as a sophomore and Junior. If he doesn't get another yd this year he will need 1,600 or 1,700 next year. Which is very doable

I thought it was Williams in 99...That was a fine 99 team and shouldve beat Graham in western finals

I wish we could break it down further than total yards, to yards per game played and yards per carry like the NFL and college does.....A man with the last name of Brown would sit atop that particular SMC mountain ....he basically only played 24 games in black and gold. And many/most of those games he didnt play even neer the full game because of blowout scores....breaking it down to yards per quarter played would probably blow everybody;s mind LOL!!!!

Well he isnt. Thats the fact of it. Odom has 5600 and Brett only rushed for 2,000 yards in the SMC. BTW I didnt see where it said SMC leading rushers. ?

If Mintz is at Cherokee next year he'll break it easy, he already has 2,800 yards receiving. But I'm not convinced he will be at Cherokee next year.

Makes sense, he has a college future in football and would probably drum up more recuiting interest elsewhere, be it Christ School or some other private/public with a prolific QB. Plus he already won a ring at Cherokee, he's accomplished what he can there. Similiar circumstances to Murphy losing Clapsaddle to Christ School in baseball after a state title run.

I also don't expect his dad will be at Cherokee beyond this year either. No proof of that, just a gut feeling. I think he has one last go at a state title this year (has a team talented enough to win it) and moves on at the end of the season, title or not.

Well excuse me....If you look at the all time leading rusher list that I linked to that is posted on the NC high school association website, then Chappell is the first person listed representing a school that is currently a member of the SMC...

He has 77 more yards than the all-time leading SMC leader then by your logic.

And Odom isn't on the list...

I’m not sure if I think chapell should count since he didn’t play 4 years in smc .

And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take anything from the running backs... I was a big fat lineman....

So technically Mosteller from Hayesville is the leading rusher in the SMC! Unless we are going to count Chappell.

Also who's to say Brett would've had 5200 in the smc for 4 years. So Thomas Jefferson QB could throw for 6,000 yds in that conference then transfer to a smc team as a senior and throw for 2,000 and become the smc all time leading smc passer. Lol.
If so Im done talking to u about it. Nothing more can be said.

Simmer down Jr. I have no clue how many yards Odom had and I don't really care. I know that Chappell and McCracken were two dang fine running backs. Odom very possibly could be better and I have no problem with that. The only place that I see him listed as having 5600 yards is the Campbell roster... You know, those rosters that add 2 inches and 15 pounds.

Consecutive Games Unbeaten - Independence - 109. 2nd place at 55. That record will never be close to touched again I think.

Im assuming Chappell not having 4 years in SMC has to do with when Rosman joined the SMC cause Brett didn’t transfer schools.

The nchsaa record book says chappell is leading rusher.I know I read where Vincent neclos ran for over 3000 yds in one season don't know his career numbers but he has to be close to those numbers.and he did play in smc
