I think our QB will be overlooked friday. What a mistake that would be. After all he leads the smc in completion percent and QB rating.
5 tds passing and zero ints.
He also averages over 9yds a carry. Only playing offense keeps him fresh. I'm predicting a big game for Collins.

Not throwing shots, just talking football. This game could go either way. I feel like Robbinsville has an explosive offense that could score from anywhere on the field at anytime but I also feel like rville has the weakest defense out of the big 3. It certainly helps rville that the game is being played at the Big Oaks. This game also depends on which Swain team shows up. The one with a Murphy loss hangover or one that comes out playing angry.

I understand that if you look at stats but if you also look at how many teams Robbinsville has played that run the spread and throw the ball 80% of the time you would see that is how most of their points have been scored on them. If you look at teams that were run heavy they have played they have done well against the run IMO. Hard to judge a high school defense against teams that pass the ball all the time.

Swains D gives up 10
Robbinsville 20 a game. Robbinsville has played tougher teams.
Special teams should be a Robbinsville advantage also.

I didn't know completion percentage and QB Rating was a high school thing for everyone to keep up with. Citizens-Times keeps up with yards, TD's and completions/in-completions. I believe Rumsfelt leads the SMC in both yards and TD's but if QB Rating and percentage helps you get one up on Robbinsville leading Murphy in something, then have at it. I don't believe Swain is overlooking anything Robbinsville throws their way. This will be the best defense Robbinsville has faced yet so i guess we will see what the Robbinsville offense is made of tomorrow night.

I don’t know but maybe Rumfelt leads SMC in passing because their run game is non existent compared to years past?

Yeah completion percent means nothing.
I wouldn't even want a QB that leads smc in QB rating, com. %, and yards a carry and ints. I think he should be benched.

Or maybe it's just a balanced offense to keep the defenses guessing. I wouldn't say the run game is non-existent, Murphy does have a back with over a 1000 yds and the next in line has around 300yds but when you have a good throwing QB, why not utilize his talents? The passing game is what scored against Swain on that Murphy last drive. I was just saying that I haven't seen completion percentage stats and QB ratings here on the 1A level. It's always been the most yards and TD's. I will say, Murphy has faced better defenses then Robbinsville (Pisgah, Christ School, Swain) which is where most his in-completions came against. The completion percentage tends to go down when you face better defenses. This will be Robbinsville toughest test to date and best defense by far. Good luck to all the teams tonight and stay dry!

Well, I not sure how big a game Collins will have in a monsoon. lol.

I should've watched the weather channel before I made that prediction.
