I guess this constitutes as "FAKE NEWS" but it gives me a slight chuckle.

I am going to give the benefit of the doubt and say typo, not FAKE NEWS. But the article also said Murphy going for 17th straight over Andrews since 2004, which means he's doing his research on MaxPreps' game histories, which only go to 2004. Very lazy if you work at a newspaper with archives you can look up the accurate figures in. I think Murphy is actually going for more like 42nd in a row over Andrews.

Yeah I was wondering that myself. 2004, unless your a millennial, is not centuries old and I cannot see Murphy having a dismal seasons where they could not beat Andrews. Of course no disrespect to Andrews, they have almost engineered upsets, these games weren't always easy Ws. And speaking of typos, I agree to that as well. Was it last week? When they haphazardly called Cherokee the Indians? I mean we know Cherokee is manly American Indians but Swain, Smoky, Robbinsville, Murphy and some others have enrolled members. Again I am sure it was a typo but like you said its laziness. But sometimes laziness can turn serious if you are not too careful.

I think Andrews' last win over Murphy was 1981, which was a winless season for the Bulldogs. Came close in 95 (15-14) and the goal line stand game two years ago.

What was the score of the 84 game between Andrews and Murphy? I think Andrews won the 1a part of the smc that year.

How well i remember the last time Andrews beat Murphy. The year was indeed 1981 and the game was played in Andrews. The Wildcats won 7-0. My brother was the QB for the Dogs.

Since several people didn't get their scores in yesterday and I don't feel like I gave everyone enough time to get their picks in (two days not really enough of a window) I'm not going to count the Reynolds - Tuscola game (I think everyone would've picked Reynolds anyway).
