So Brewster has got Elijah Daniel taking an official with us this weekend?

Good to hear about Willis. Lord knows we need a JUCO corner. Love has done nothing to prove he will ever be capable of being a decent corner, and Jiles and Redmond are both young and have little or no experience.

Daniel has been looking around for a while, but I'm not getting my hopes up there.

Brewster may be the best hire Mullen has made. He is a great recruiter, and our WRs play seems to have improved since he arrived. Mirando getting in trouble definitely worked out for the best.

it says he's a DE ... why would Brewster be recruiting a defensive player ? (not complaining )

It's a regional thing

Our staff recruits in regions despite the position. It's a pretty standard practice. It helps staffs become for familiar with HS coaches and the regional football climate.

I believe Brewster is Texas and the Atlantic coast, going back to his connections at UT and UNC. Geoff has Alabama and Georgia, I'm guessing because of his stints at GT and Bama. I think Knox is Mississippi and Tennessee.

Of course there are certain case-by-cases and special circumstances but these guys recruit on the area they know the best, not by position.

Mullen goes in for the close.

P.S. if this guy decommitted and committed to us I think South Carolina would wage war on Mississippi.
