Is Borchert playing tonight?

I have a feeling that we are about to hit our rock bottom point as a basketball program (ie our basketball version of Maine). Things can only get better from here.

I can't imagine a coach in America having as tough a job as Rick Ray in his first year.

Borchert is playing to tonight. Hopefully we shoot well, because if we don't, we may very well lose. Ray has a very tough job in front of him, but we will be a good bit better with Borchert and Steele together in the lineup in a few weeks.

I'll be in attendance. There isn't a single youngster (Wendall, you're terrible) I don't like on the team, and above everything I respect the hell out of these guys for their work ethic and their "try".

We're short and inexperienced, but if there was any silver lining in Maui it was that we matched them shot for shot, the problem being we nailed 20% of our shots.

The shots will eventually drop though. There are still rookie jitters and no chemistry.

If anything, go, cheer, and stop bitching because Bloodman and Sword are fun to watch. Alcorn State games are the kind of games where we finally find our groove.

Was that an Alcorn State game many many years ago when Mad Dog 20/20 bottles where thrown on the court. Then a fight broke out in the area where the homeboys used to lean up against the wall and a gun was discharged by the exit door?

I was there...just thought about that...been a while.
