I have heard the same about Hartline from several folks inside OSU. He is definitely looking to make the jump to being HC though people who know him think he is a couple of years away from being ready. OSU is also not stressed about him going out to get HC experience as Freeman and he are seen as HC heirs apparent to when Day moves on. Both would take it wherever they find themselves at the time.
Brohm slipping is disappointing as he would immediately bring in an offensive identity and be able to bring in top flight QB talent, which in turn would bring in top end skill players.
I can see Kraft's attraction to Key. At UCF he filled several positions on the coaching staff, but as a HC at GT he has not particularly done well outside of this year with Haynes King. But it is GT after all. I am sure he is a very skilled OLine coach, but you are not hiring a position coach. I, do, however like the culture he will bring and his ties to SE recruiting.
