I also bitched much less than other posters yesterday. It was pretty clear we had serious problems after Holy Cross. The surprise would be taking two today. The sweep is what I expect. The split is probably most accurate.
Contrary to "conventional" baseball wisdom, BA is a fairly meaningless statistic. However, I have a theory as to why runs aren't coming. Our slash line as a team before today is .275/.387/.346 (BA/OBP/SLG). Our slugging percentage is lower than our on-base perecentage. That is a problem. We struggle to find gaps when we have runners on.
