I don’t think madien would have beat Shelby but I feel like the would have matched up better than east did... I know it may sound stupid but that’s what I told my son on the way haome from Mitchell tonight

Congrats to East Surry as well!…I was very impressed with their team, Coach Lowman and his staff and all their fans! Top notch program over there in Pilot! I’m hoping I get to see Boaz play again next year!… he is sump’em!

Last night's Shelby win was maybe the most impressive win of the 2021 North Carolina high school football season. I thought this would be a 10 point win. Boy was I off. Great win against a quality East Surry eleven.
Yes we did...we played a horrible game and lost by one point. Trust me, you would have gotten a much better game out of us. We'll be back and loaded next year.

#2 would have made a difference if not for the injury. He was a matchup problem for East Surry for sure.

He got an offer from Ohio State last week. I'm really interested to know how he's leaning...I'd love to pick his brain.
