I would like to believe that most reasonable fans were on board with that progress plan, but I think the problem right now is that the Year 2 portion of the plan to "Improve" is highly debatable at this point. Yes, we're 13-11 this year as opposed to 10-22 last season, but our SOS is 176th this year as opposed to 112 last season. It's the easiest one in the conference by a very wide margin. On top of that, it's really hard to say whether there's been any individual improvement either. Some like Fred seem to even have regressed, and of course Ray's very weak recruiting isn't doing much to provide a light at the end of the tunnel.
There's no doubt in my mind that Ray's getting a minimum of one more year, but if Stricklin is truly expecting wins next year, my feeling is that next season will be Ray's last.
