I'm a gov't worker so mine's a measly $50K a year job. I mean I hate to be rude (not really) but heck why not ask right? Dunno if ya don't ask is what I was always told.

I now work for a large equipment company in sales. I make a base of 45,000 per year plus commission. I also work at my families car lot and handle inventory auctions, and make sure it's stocked. I owned a retail clothing business for 6 years that couldn't sustain itself. Fail.

Looking at going back into business next year under a completely new thing. Very excited and ready.

I want to be rich so.....

Why would you start a stupid thread like this? I’m about to switch from Alcoa to Century in Seebree. That’s probably more than you need to know. I may move to Henderson which means I’ll be an IU fan living behind enemy lines.

Why so hateful? this is a positive thread! That was vulgar and unwarranted! shame on you!

PS. why did you even tell me? remember Siri and google is listening to everything you type, think, say and search! Don't you think it's kinda strange that you said this was stupid yet you just said "I'm about to switch from Alcoa to Century in Seebree. That’s probably more than you need to know." Now i'm not judging but that's kinda odd that you would actually think this was in poor taste yet you still agreed to provide facts. kinda scary

Others disagree with you but keep being bored!
Have you ever worked in the Potroom at alcoa? In the summer it is the most brutal job in the world. Century has better equipment so it’s not as brutal so yeah, I’m switching. I wish I hadn’t partied like a rock star back in the day but it is what it is.

Teachers are compensated plenty fair against the days worked annually and the responsibilities of the job. The underfunded pension was/is unsustainable and that should be your problem and not mine.

I retired from Corps of Engineers Los Angles District 18 years ago , and ever since Obama became the president, he started giving me $2 per month raise for 8 solid years, while he used government jets to travel with his family and entourage to Hawaii and allover the world.
Thank goodness I made enough money on real estate to survive not depending on my retirement entirely.

I worked for the Corps of Engineers in Fort Worth back in the '90's and met some guys from New York that worked for the Brooklyn District. I honestly don't know how they made enough to live up there.

So, how much of a raise did Trump give you?
