JD went in to take the couch and didn’t realize an old lady was napping on it until he was finishing 20 seconds later. She was removed to keep it hush hush. If the family wants their couch back, they are going to have to acquire Greenland first in trade. The old lady is in El Salvador learning the value of not speaking against the administration.

84 and in bad health, and no confirmaiton that she is still alive or actual proof they have her.

Robbery gone bad? Was this meant to be a kidnapping?

Things don't add up.

So far, proof of life has not been demonstrated, which is probably means that she is no longer living. It could have been a kidnapping that went wrong. Or a post-hoc money play after a botched home invasion when they realized the family had some dough.

Initial reports said she takes daily medication linked to her heart condition and going more than 24 hours without it is fatal. Her medication was still at the house. The chances of her being alive at this moment is closer to 0% than it is 1% if that information is accurate and true.

That is tragic. I hope they get to the bottom of all of this and execute people involved.

I heard an fbi expert saying some of these cases are never solved. The county does need to recall the idiot sheriff he releases the crime scene allowing anyone access plus he didn’t interview neighbors until the fbi made him

New pictures of one of the suspects. Why? Because the FBI came in and used advanced technology to retrieve all digital information. Imagine a family with a kidnapped mother angry at agents trying to help, because of their ignorance of the agents perceived beliefs. That woman deserved a better effort, and not relying on the local sheriff. That’s disturbing behavior to treat people trying to help with anger

Why is this crap grabbing so much media attention. People are abducted every day that receive zero attention.
100% because the daughter is a big media darling. Have you seen how journos defend each other? It’s hilarious when the limp-wrist brigade fires up the hysterics when one of their own is in the slightest bit of trouble. Hell there was at least one local journo that defended Brian Rosenthal after he was found guilty of raping children.

I half expect Reddington to casually show up with Nancy at the pentagon.

"People are abducted every day" Who is being kidnapped? How many 84-year-old women who live in nice suburbs? I know because she is Guthrie's mom she is getting a lot of publicity, but that doesn't take away from it being traumatic and weird. The suspect looks like a very scary guy. Between my two dogs hopefully waking me up and my Berretta 20-gauge loaded with 3-inch magnum shells I hope this won't ever happen to me.

Fvkk the old lady. How many kids get national media attention when they are abducted?

In the US, around 2,300 children go missing daily, making kidnapping an alarming form of disappearance.

That's truly ****** if you stop and think about it for even a second. I couldn't imagine.
It is insane! Lots of those are runaways of course but still. One of the classes I teach, we cover that kind of stuff and it is really eye opening.

Then again, a certain crowd loves to pretend that they will just go adopt those kids and save them...but they don't.

FBI has lots more "pull" than local LE. Companies like Google/Apple/etc are very protective of releasing info due to "privacy" issues. I'm sure they got leaned on pretty hard from the FBI/DOJ.

Very true. Which is exactly why I said it in the first place. It’s pathetic these people are so deluded that they don’t want help from the only ones with the expertise and tools to do so.

I read somewhere that it's something like 12 kidnaps for ransom a year....so it's kind of a unique story. The vast majority of missing persons are runaways, obviously an issue but a way different one than a home invasion/kidnapping/ransom demand.

The statistics and sheer numbers are alarming. Many are not found. Many are trafficked. Many are drugged, sexually and physically abused. They are treated like trash and when they no longer hold "value" they are dumped.
