Pretty cool to see Jackie and Dan the Man together. I also like the idea of the university making Wyatt the mouth piece of MSU athletics.</p>

Feel free to check it out.
I find it surprising because Byrne has been so adept thus far at being in touch with the fan. If he were to give Jack an improper sendoff and piss off the 97% of MSU fans that love Jack, that good will that he has built up could vanish pretty quickly. We all realize Jack isn't as good as he used to be. We all realize he mixes up names and gets times and downs wrong now. But Jack should have the option to leave when he wants to if anyone in this world ever did. It would just be silly to piss on an amazing career such as his just to change up the radio broadcast two years early.Bigohh said:I just don't see how anyone who's been paying attention to the changes made in the last few months could be surprised. Do you really think Jack's caustic comments, as truthful as you may find them, fit into the positive mindset the new administration is putting into place.
If a Scott Field crowd would give Emory Bellard a standing ovation, anything can happen.Mr Meoff said:I think the standing ovation and people's renewed love of the Kang has as much to do with him hanging around the last few years as it does with his on field success. Seems like he's always at the football (and now basketball) games, and he hangs around talking with fans, and generally staying in contact with the program. I do not see Croom doing that. I think he's a bitter, hardheaded individual who will hold a grudge, and will not be hanging around DWS in the Club Level very much.
Personally, I hope he quits talking about how MSU wronged him so we can put that behind us, and I hope eventually he does come back periodicaly, just for goodwill. But it's doubtful in his case. Do you think time can heal that wound?
At least Emory did do something worth a **** when he was the coach. 6 - 3.... need I say more?Mutt the Hoople wrote:

nobody in this world should have the option to leave from a position such as his when they want. unless someone like Mark Cuban decides to start announcing his own team's game, i cant think of another reason an announcer should have the ability to choose when they leave.Faustdog wrote:
