I've acknowledged that an element of cheating has to be present. But, I'm talking about a wide-scale, hushed, cheating free-for-all. I hear the "we got outbid" argument all the time now for lost recruits. $200 can't factor in significantly. Otherwise, these bidding wars are being blown WAY out of proportion. </span>

With millions at stake now each season, you can damn well bet this big business of college athletics is funneling money to places that ensure success.
