I'm kidding. He seems to be well like, but if he does win at least eight games in the regular season and contend for a conference championship next year ... It will be deja vu all over again.

Coach Russell Dove is a fine Christian man, I have known him for a number of years and hope the fans at S. Columbus gives him a chance to have a positive impact over there. Good luck Coach Dove, this Pack fan is proud of you. Competitors on the field only.
I think he's a great fit at SC. Is that hoof beats i hear in the distance?

Not saying Columbus does not have it but just speaking in general, you can have the greatest coach but until that coach has authentic brilliant players, then the results will not be as expected. A lot of folks for some odd reason does not believe that theory.

Many on this thread agree the new coach is a great fit
Others say, "SC didnt give up a great one"
one said: "back to mash mouth football"
then there's the "we have players"
I have no role in this play but Rufus, Vernon, Rhett, Sawyer and Sterling just had a "Meeting of the Minds". The only 2 questions they came up with was:
1. With a new coach in place, does this mean SC will win conference?
2. At the end of the first 4 games, what will be SC record?

Sterlings girlfriend Greta, who was once my EX, just told me that the consistently improving Julius Caulder will be making a trip to Tabor City.

Swett, what in the heck are you talking about? I won't make any predictions but one thing i can assure you,,,,,we'll be better and stronger than we were the last 2 years
Rufus, Vernon, Rhett, Sawyer and Sterling are the ones with the concern. I, S2V truly believe in the SC program as the results will show this year. Cant wait for the Jamboree results(which means nothing) but kinda gives us all an idea.
You guys could be up for a flat out all conference contender
I certainly hope so. In talking with some of the boys, they really like Coach Dove and are working hard in weight room for him. Special thanks go out to a joint effort between the South Columbus Stallion Club and the CC Board of Education for funding new weight room equipment.
