Breaking News; South Iredell State title winning coach - Coach Scott Miller will be stepping down as the HFC of South Iredell at the conclusion of this Covid season!

Miller’s record at SI is 95-37 overall which include that elusive 2012 State Championship

That’s big news. I know he has been a good coach. I wish him the best at whatever he decides to do. It will be interesting to see who takes the next HC job for South.

This is a huge loss for the South Iredell program. Miller has done a great job over the years and will leave some huge shoes to fill. I'm not sure where the school turns for their next head coach, but I'm sure that defensive coordinator Devin Ratcliff will get a strong look.

I figure the day would eventually come for Coach Scott Miller to step down coaching football at South.. I wish it could be longer. He came in and took the football program to another level. I’ve really seen alot of exciting games. Never will forget the State Championship year of 2012. Best of luck to Coach Miller. And best of luck for South Iredell future football program.

Miller has been the standard of coaching in Iredell County. He has completely turned South into a respected football program. I hope nothing but the best for Miller in his future endeavors.

Name is watch is OC Rydell Cowan. South Iredell legend himself and an App State Grad.

Why I highly respect OC Rydell Cowan and Love him to death .... He is not a teacher in the school which will play as a factor if he doesn’t get the job

Most believe DC Devin Radcliff is the one next in line...... He has turned down other jobs to stay at South Iredell and I think it’s because he wants the HC job at SI! Time will tell
