He figured y’all would be up big….and try experimenting with forward passes…..he had EG with a couple pick 6’s
Third string QB threw a 50+ yard TD pass against Lincolnton last week. SP will by no means be a passing team but if defenses don’t cover receivers, they will take what you give em!
I think EG may get some late score to make look better but y’all should have a good lead by half but I think EG will be better tho so will see
I think the game has potential to be close. SP will have a significant OL advantage and EG will struggle to stop SP up the middle. On the flip side I see SP struggling to contain Hill if he gets outside. SP is strong up the middle on D but the edges are a little suspect. LB's and DB's are small which plays into the hands of Hill; he's a big kid.

I’m proud of our guys and our coaching staff. Things are really looking up not just for now but down the road. Sophomore QB throws a nice ball. Strong arm. If they can go to work and nail down that deep pass play, somebody’s gonna be in trouble. We just were exhausted there in the 3rd and it was easy to see. Hill went in and out of the game at least 5-6 times with cramps. August football is tough. Good luck to the Raiders the rest of the way.
Yep, we are very close to being a good team. Coach Postell and his staff are doing a great job rebuilding our program. I thought we just ran out gas (I know I did, boy was it hot). SP seemed to be in a little better shape than us.
For years I've said if EG was gonna have a solid program they needed to change the atmosphere 1st and I believe they've finally found the coach that has done that. Sp has always been a 2nd half team and that showed in this game.
