If you like seafood Captain Steve’s is real good it’s on 49 a mile or two before you get to the school.
facts to know about HR,, lots of size, and high number turnout, a few better than average skilled position players,
And they do not like to line up and play smash mouth. Get them in a close game going into the fourth and you got a shot.
Just a few hundred yards up 49 past Captain Steve’s is the Harrisburg Family House. If you are going there leave early. Large menu and always a big crowd especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
That was the other restaurant I was trying to think of, I couldn’t think of the name of it.
I’m sure Hickory Ridge will be favored. The question is by how much. If South Point will play to contain the QB instead of chasing him all over the field they may be alright. Of course pass coverage will have to hold up.
They have a WR with 25 D1 offers .. an fcs level Rb/slot .. a D1 left tackle , but are vulnerable against the ground and pound on defense . Should be good if SP can move the ball on em ,, they will have bigger boys than what Sp has on their O line but that Belmont Bone offense should hold up.
South Points O line will beat up on their knees a little bit.
Honestly this could go 1 of 2 ways. HR isn't great at stopping the run when you run at them and not side to side. I don't see them shutting sp down. But sp will have their hands full with HR offense. The qb doesn't really run unless he has to, the rb is good and that d1 receiver is legit but the have more on the edges then just him. If sp can make them 1 dimensional it could be alot like the catholic score last week, if they can't it could be a shootout and whoever hast the ball last wins
So their knees might be sore trying to stay low enough to beat up on the knees of Hickory Ridge.

HR beat Huss 63-14 and lost by 8 to a very good Catholic team. You have to give it to SP as they do not shy away from playing quality opponents.
Brian Simmons now has Hickory Ridge ranked 22nd in 4A. South Point is now ranked 13th in 3A. His computations have Hickory Ridge winning by 17 points. I’ve been wrong before, many times in fact but I don’t see South Point losing, at least not by 17. GO BIG RED. !!!

Oh well, at least it wasn’t a conference game. South Point suffered a couple key injuries. Hopefully they won’t carry over to the next game. Next week is our bye week. Time to regroup and heal.
