I think this will be a pretty good test this fall. I I believe R-S Central will be very good again this year. Although their head coach quit just a couple weeks ago. I’ve heard Stewey will be better, time will tell. Huss was good three or four years ago, not so much since. I’m sure Crest and Kings Mt will both be pretty good again this year. Forestview has given the Raiders trouble in the past, again we will see. I can’t wait.

That should be a good scrimmage, Abbeville is always very good. They always have team speed and a ton of athletes that are hard to stop in space.

I may be inbred but I ain’t no midget! Oh by the way, I spent four years at GWC back in the 80’s. Back then as now tractors and red necks are about all that Boiling Springs has to offer. If it wasn’t for GW I’m not sure Boiling Springs would even exist.

Been there and done that, 91. I make it back to several football and basketball games every year. Again if it weren’t for GW, Boiling Springs would be another Cliffside. Even now most people in North Carolina think your talking about Boiling Springs Lakes in Brunswick County when Boiling Springs is mentioned

I suppose you are referring to the nice park they built down 150 at the River. Back in 1980 we just referred to that as going down to the ROCKS!

A little history for my friends from Crest. South Point High School opened in 1969. From 69 until last year Crest and South Point have played each other 38 times this includes I believe 3 playoff games.

South Point has won 60.52% of those games. With a record of23 W - 15 L. Included in that total SP has won 2/3 or two of three playoff games.

I will have to admit that Crest has won 5 of the last 7 . SP won 7 straight from 1969 through 1974 including a playoff win in 1973. And won another 8 straight from 2007 through 2013 also including a playoff win this time in 2012. The longest winning streak Crest has rolled up is 4, from 1980 through 1983.

It must be sad to have a midget as YOUR DADDY.

You forgot to mention Crest has 6 rings baby! I know thats at least one more than belmont boom baby! Mic drop! And elvis has left the building

Crest is at a plus two in championships.

Crest is at a negative eight against The Red Raiders.

How many of those championships were won during years that Crest didn’t play South Point? Just wondering!

I remember in 2014 in the 4th round of the playoffs how I was so thirsty, and then SP lost at the ranch and suddenly I was well hydrated because of all those tears from all the fans and players...good times....good times.
