South Robeson at Fairmont Rescheduled

The game, originally scheduled for Friday, September 25th at 7:30 PM, has been moved to Thursday Night at 7:00 PM. Nelson and Nelson Chiropractic planned to cover the game as their pick of the Game Of The Week in the Cape Fear Region. Not sure if this will still be their plan in terms of coverage, but please fill the stands and support the Golden Tornadoes. This is the first week of conference play for the Three Rivers Conference.

Red Springs has talent for sure and they will be one of Fairmonts problem child. All Fairmont can do is go in with team mentality and "Be Physical".

Can Fairmont beat Whiteville this year. I saw Whiteville play West Columbus,not even a game. West not team I thought they were.
Westight win 2 more games. I thought Fairmont or Red Springs might have a chance against Whiteville,but they are cat quick on Defense,and Carr is a talent.

I guess we will have to see come Friday. Fairmont has the best wide receiver inside the dome and 6th outside the dome. Just to name one fast kid. Whiteville on the other hand has always been a great program so it doesnt surprise me on what they are carrying. This might generate a big audience since both Fairmont and Whiteville are 3-2. Fairmont MUST overcome this verbal and physical obstacle in order to shine up against Red Springs on 23 October.
