I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have any blowouts the rest of the way. Even WS Prep only lost to conference co-champs East Surry and Walkertown by a combined 9 points, so aren't a pushover despite the losing record. That being said, I also wouldn't be shocked if they cruised. Anything can happen with high school kids...that's why they play the games.

Prep has gotten better over the season.....have some good skill people and they don't play bad D....around 26/27 players with 1/2 seniors....have no JV program so this may be their chance to make noise...guess we will see

From what I have heard about MIC they like to run the score up. Like most Charter schools they might have one or two good seasons then like Community School of Davidson last year, had one good year then only won 1 this year. If and when they meet up with Murphy it will not be like Andrews. They are a powerhouse year after year since the 70's. MIC will meet their match and more if they make it to Cherokee County. The only difference will be that Murphy will show respect after going into halftime with a big lead and will pull the starters after one series. Murphy has been there before so they will have class. MIC hasn't been there before so they try to look intimidating by running scores up against lesser teams. Karma will bite you in the form of a Bulldog.

Thanks for the compliment about my Murphy bulldogs.

MIC will learn this lesson very shortly about winning with class and losing with dignity.

Yes, i'm from Andrews. We might fight, cuss and want to beat Murphy and all the other teams in the SMC BUT come playoff time the SMC sticks together. The best 1A football conference in the state. Good luck to Murphy, Cherokee & Hayesville and Swain in the 1AA
