Where is Smashmouth22 or whatever his name was? The HH fan with the Al Bundy picture (wow...very clever). Has he become 'Stalk n' Go' or is he in hiding? He was a great supporter of HH (hires, coaches, players, school) and it seemed his main goal was to be a detractor of South Point. He should have an opinion on this game.

More questions from this week: Will the HH team claim COVID again, or will they show and play? Many think SP is not very good right now. Predictions of the outcome and score?

SOUTH POINT
Offense
One dimensional. # 31 needs help. He can’t do it all against good teams. (Ask the SC quarterback). At this point the normal Red Bone option is nearly nonexistent.

Defense
You can’t chase ball carriers all over the field. You gotta put em on the ground. Pass defense, I won’t even go there. Some things never change.

Special Teams
Good for the most part. Kicking, punting has been good this year. Kick coverage good at times.

I love our kids. I’m pulling for them. If they are going to make a playoff run they’ve got to get better.

Agreed. SP is basically 1/2 dimensional. By stacking 8 and sometimes 9 defenders in the box SC nearly proved that point. Without a little help from SC, the raiders could have easily lost the game.
My comments are just for fun boys so please no one get bent out of shape. #31 does need some help. I could imagine #34 being fullback and #31 wingback. This would make the redbone less obvious. To make the team 2 dimensional perhaps #35 could be thrown some hook or slants or a screen to a wing out of the backfield????? Completed passes tend to open the run game up a bit and back those linebackers up some. This will allow the "dives" and "keepers" to be more effective.
Like always I will be in the stands watching the raiders collect another victory Friday night. This game could be time for the raiders to work some kinks out. Crest and King Mountain games should be interesting . SP 31 /HH 17.

Yes we need to pass a little more, but I'd like to see 8, 5, or 21 line up at the wing. 31 needs to be our fb, he's a much better runner than 34.

I hope that #31 can hold up, with all the carries he has had so far. He runs hard for his size. 700 + yards in 4 games proves that. They do need to mix in some passes. But, it is SP lol! If defense plays like it did in the 2nd half against Cramer they will be ok.

I think the score will be 56-7 SP over HH. But...I don't think HH will show to play. Probably not gonna happen.

The least they should have done was to forfeited early in the week so SP could’ve had time to look for a replacement game. If they announced right now, it would be nearly impossible to line something up for tomorrow night. As 59 stated above, I hope varsity plays.

HH players and coaches (for either encouraging it or having zero control) are pitiful. One of the cheapest, dirtiest teams I have ever seen.

Agreed! A huss jv player told me that their staff encourages it. Thats sad
Agreed. I have followed high school football all over the state (SP games and other teams). No doubt this game was the most embarrassing one I have seen due to the HH players being out of control on blatant personal fouls and countless intentional/obvious holds AND the officials not having the fortitude to stop it early. It slowed down some but never completely was stopped. Several players should have been thrown out but weak officials didn’t make it happen. Must have gotten the JV officials from last night.

Dang some dude called y’all out on my page for saying what you did. lol come to my page NC High school football talk page
He can bump them gums all he wants but it still doesn't change the fact that what we're saying is true. Everyone at that game saw the same thing, it started from their 1st drive. No discipline at all on the Huss side, but hey if they're good with that then thats on them.

I personally know some of these coaches, they are trying to change a culture over there where they were allowed to do what they wanted. Most of what you saw friday was seniors. The coaches that are there now have coached in this county for years at other schools and I promise even your coaching staff knows them and has respect for them and what they are trying to do
