I miss when UK players played as hard as the players for St. John's do. They're so disciplined on defense. Fun group to watch.
Excellent point. They play like warriors out there for Pitino. Oweh, Aberdeen, and Mo are the only guys we had play like that year.

Chandler, Jelavic, Johnson, Garrison and Moreno are all soft.

Watching Rock and the Redmen now. Pitino in his 70s, adjusting to the NIL era and turning around the Redmen like he has is just GOAT mode.
I still always think of the what if... if he hadn't left for the Celtics.
He gets his players to just ball!
Can you imagine Pope every getting onto his players like this?

I'd run through a wall for Pitino after hearing that. Pope isn't capable of that energy and quite frankly has done nothing as a coach over his career to where players would even respond to him if he tried.

Best player in the country with the ball down two. KU will at least tie this game.
