In a spread offense, he's an adequate passer. When you drop him back and ask him to throw an out route, he's not so good.
He's great for a spread option offense, because he's basically a playground QB. He doesn't have to have his feet set to make a throw. He just throws off his front foot, back foot, off balance, on the run, whatever.
He just doesn't fit our offense. We're trying to make our offense fit him, but that's not helping the other 10 players on the field.
