I like that a helluva lot better than "Up Your Alley".

Just don't let the Camp brothers film in there..........

Making the cut is enough of an honor, but I figure I might as well campaign for the heck of it-- especially since the Famous Maroon Bar looks to have name recognition. If The General Stark is selected, I will offer one of the passes/spots to one of the Six Pack electorate in a fair, democratic process to be determined in conjunction with the Board's Moderators and YellowFeverDawg provided that the person is eligible per YellowFeverDawg.

Plus I think if it sticks, will be a good name for a bar. If/when it becomes the new "it" place to go, ppl can simply refer to it as the "maroon bar" or something along those lines.

All of those suck balls except for Old Main Pub/Tavern, but that seems a little too overused/cliche because of the Old Main Historic district, Old Main plaza on campus, Old Main music festival, etc.
Hell, just call it "THE BAR." That approach seemed to work for my favorite band.."THE Band"

"3 and out" in honor of our offense. You could run specials in 3's. Like a 3 dollar pitcher, or an app, draft, and dinner for $15, and so on...

"The Famous Maroon Bar" sounds second- rate touristy. Like something from Panama City or Gatlinburg. Let's make sure its really famous before we airbrush it on the t-shirts.

Wikipedia say:

Burgoyne sent a detachment of about 800 troops under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Friedrich Baum from Fort Miller on a foraging mission to acquire horses for the German dragoons, draft animals to assist in moving the army, and to harass the enemy.[11] Baum's detachment was primarily made up of dismounted Brunswick dragoons of the Prinz Ludwig regiment. Along the way it was joined by local companies of Loyalists, some Canadians and about 100 Indians, and a company of British sharpshooters.[14]
