No. No need to discuss. Devils will be playing hard tonight and the Rams will too. That's what this thread is about.

Everyone makes their own comments. That's how rumors get started.
Ignore rumors until they're is facts to back them up Some rumers on here are to try and change the out come of a game. As gal durnit said Devils & Rams will be playing hard tonight ! Ignore rumors unless they came from an article in a newspaper posted here.

can anyone give details on the score? Did swain dominate early on the way the score indicated? Seems from another thread starmount had early turnovers?

Swain got opening kickoff and scored on TD pass.

Starmount answered with a nice drive inside the Maroon Devil 10. The Rams had a 4th and 1 turn into 4th and 6 after a penalty. Rams fumble.

Swain then scored quickly on another TD pass to make it 14-0.

After teams traded punts in 2nd quarter, Swain scored again to make it 21-0.

Late in 2nd quarter Starmount's Brandon Prescott returned the Swain punt for an apparent TD but it was called back due to a penalty. The Rams were also penalized for unsportsmanlike penalty and backed Rams up deep in their own territory,

With less than a min, the Rams fumbled and Seain recovered. The Maroon Devils would then score right before the half that crushed the Rams hope of anything. 28-0

First drive of the 2nd half was like the first drive of the game for the Rams. They drove in Swain territory but was intercepted in the end zone.

Starmount would get on the board on Prescott's TD run to make 28-6 then the teams pretty much traded scores in the 2nd half.

Prescott ended up with over 193 yards and 3 TDs to finish his outstanding senior season.

It just kind of seemed the air came out of the Rams failing to score on that first drive and Swain scoring so fast to take a 14-0 lead.

The Rams started 6 sophomores this year so those guys got a lot of experience.

Best of luck to Swain on their trip to East Wilkes.
