I've been saying it all year, Tarboro will win 1AA and it really won't be close. That's not meant to be a shot at any other school. Tarboro is just really really good this year.

Im not to sure about that. Mt. Airy will be the best team ya'll play. If they have same coaching as back when playing WRH, ya'll are in for a game.

Same head coach. Some of the assistants have changed.

I'm sure Tarboro is really good, but so are the Bears.

The first high school team I ever covered was a Tarboro team that made it to the 3A East Regional final in 1993. After 24 years, I'll finally get to see the Vikings play for a state championship next week.
