That's a good deal. UK will be pumped for that game...didnt want a night battle

afternoon game should help weather wise and with crowd enthusiasm. Let the confederates have the BR crazies. Billy Cannon will be mentioned 81 thousand times that day....

my question is what's going to happen when we host Arkansas the next week when CBS has already claimed the Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, and Mississippi plays Auburn, which will certainly be an ESPN night game. Any chance ESPN2 could do a night kick, as well? I would like to avoid an 11am kick for the only home game I'm able to attend this year. Peeking ahead to the schedule, it appears ESPN or ESPN2 or ABC will televise Illinois @ Ohio St at 7CT.

cbs is so bad

Their broadcasts of games take 4 hours. Vern and Gary are both too damn old. I was glad to hear Vern share with us "Jim Ellis of the ole miss network's" call of the interception at the end. When can FOX bid on the package? It's time for Gus Johnson and Charles Davis to start calling games in this conference.

My guess is that the talking points for the announcers will be centered around the Heisman campaign for Dak.

Will be interesting to see how they use that doubleheader. Before the season started they probably figured it would be 11/8 with AU/TAMU & Bama/LSU. That seems no good now, so I predict it will be from these weekends

11/1: UGA/FL & OM/AU
11/15: State/Bama & UGA/AU
11/29: Iron Bowl and Egg Bowl

My prediction would be 11/29 > 11/15 > 11/1

Will be interesting.

I was able to see the 1st quarter of the KY game this weekend and up until a couple of freak plays, they were not impressive at all. I think LSU exercises a few demons and handles them pretty well. Usually not too bold in predicting games but I think we handle them easier than some think.

You right. In my haste I...... On the other hand as Mark Twain put it, "I can't respect a man that can't spell a word at least two different ways."

LSU prefers night games. They've never liked 2:30 home games. That may have something to do with it.

Dan Wolken called this game the Jefferson-Pilot Memorial Classic. That made me laugh.
