Being in the east, I truly understand the new Bern outreach if Cleveland is here Newbern should be as well. Played no one so far. They will face 4a competition soon but they haven’t earned a spot yet. The other teams in the top seven have strong RPI Cleveland has a negative.

Immediately what I first thought. He asked me last week who else we played other than Maury. Would love to hear the explanation of Cleveland being top 5 when New Bern has a higher SOS. Guessing we'll get the "it's not a poll" answer.

I saw Cleveland in a scrimmage and I always take scrimmages with a grain of salt. They have a fine team and the RB is a stud but they are not at the same level of the top 5 teams in the state.

Yes they are better, especially on D. Their RB is the REAL deal! I live only ~5 miles from the school.
