Statesville will take on Lake Norman. Game time move to 8pm due heat. Last week Statesville lost to Alexander Central 13-6. Lake Norman pulled out a squeaker over North Meck 8-7. Any thoughts.

One would think LKN wins pretty easily . My prediction based off last week says 21-0 should be the score . Let’s hope it was just Week 1 jitters for the Hounds last week
I was at the JV game yesterday evening thinking they moved the game up at 7 due to heat. Luckily I got there 6:10. The game started at 6. I miss some of 1st which was ok. But what got me later they announced the varsity game will be moved up due to heat. I was thinking what about this game why was it not moved up. It was hot out there. Anyway I guess it all worked out. As soon as the game ended they announced for fans to get out of the stadium due to lightning being 5 miles away.
As for the JV game. LN won 30-0 but the game was closer than the score. HT it was 28-0. Statesville had turn the ball over with at least 4 fumbles and an interception. They have big players on the line. QB has a good arm. I was thinking they might could move him up to varsity. Anyway Statesville JV just needs to work on fundamentals. They are not a bad team as it would look.

LKN 14. Statesville 13. Statesville seems to have a solid defense and offense made some improvement . LKN had a long run back to the 5 yd line right after Statesville took the lead 13-7 and that was all LKN needed when they scored the td. Both teams had a lot of penalties.
