Supposedly they are out there........ possibly hanging out with bigfoot in highland county or the dismal swamp.
We're here, I actually pushed for a change to something like this. It's just the vocal complainers standing out right now, it'll calm down.
I do not like it much either. Don't seem to be as many posters either, but season starts tomorrow, so we will seeI have tried to give it a chance , but do not like the new set-up. I now how have to jump amongst 6 boards to look at basically 4A football. Find myself losing more and more interest on this site. This might be my final run.
I don't like it as well as I used to, I was hoping for a combined regional and classification board breakdown- 3/4a West, 3/4a East, etc... I generally only look at 2 boards, Piedmont and Valley. Previously it was 3a & 4a, now if they would just combine them I would be happy.I have tried to give it a chance , but do not like the new set-up. Doubt you'll find many now I get to wade through A 2A 3A an 5A looking for the stuff I'm interested in on top that I have to go to tidewater board an wade to see devils an DinwiddieProud post an valley to see mikes post wading all along through stuff I'm not interested in.
Still have to wade threw my point is most of us are divisional. I keep yo with mostly 4A an 3A since that's what the Seminole is an teams amherst plays. if I want to read bout dogwood I go to 1A or 2 A board. An I'd imagine that's how most people are.If you are looking for posts from specific people, you can click on their user name and a box will pop up allowing you to choose "Follow". You will then be alerted to every post that they make with a direct link to that post provided.
No wading needed.

That's my point I don't follow the dogwood I follow the classification my team plays in as does most. I check the 3A board sometimes because of Seminole schools but most interested in what is going in I 4A all over the state. 1,2,5,6 A I have no interest in as I'd imagine most posters feel about the other classifications depending on which class there teams in.
Point u don't see is it doesn't work for most
Article from the Times on the Pulaski/Northside game:Not only that, ive seen like 2 updates on how someones team played. I looked foward to reading on who was playing good, and what strengths other teams have. Like northside, what happened to them last night. Was Pulaski just that good, or northside just have first game jitters. . Guess ill never know. Lol
I agree, I always enjoyed following D1 & D2 now I'm suppose to visit numerous boards to follow all theses schools. Just not worth the time that will take, I guess I'll just read the paper.....I would vote to change that part back, if anyone cares.Point u don't see is it doesn't work for most
Thanks mike, i keep forgetting about the roanoke TimesArticle from the Times on the Pulaski/Northside game:

I Still do not like it. Will not be using it as muchI use to look at the site almost everyday.....now it's just once in a while. I thought for sure last night I would be able to follow scores on the Scoreboard page, but couldn't get anything. So if last night doesn't tell someone this new format isn't working, I guess a lot of us will just fade away......
I think it is too much work to find what I am much interested in. Not as many fans as in the past that I see that are interested. And as far as the Amherst fans, they don't want to be negative so they don't post. Go back to the 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A etc. much easier@AMHERST #1 Before the change to the current format, the most chatty discussions on these boards came from 2A and 1A folks mostly from the SWVA area. The SWVA board is very busy today. Most of the Salem folks from last year weren't posting over the last few weeks before the board change, mainly because of how Salem's season ended last year after saying how awesome they were, bringing in Devils a couple of Dinwiddie fans, and some of us fans who've always posted here into the fold. Same with Amherst fans, it's been just you and wikki for a long time now. The 5A and 6A boards, which of course consisted of mostly NoVA, Richmond, and Tidewater schools, were dead for years before this change, so it makes sense that those boards are still dead after. There hasn't been much Seminole and other Lynchburg- and Roanoke-area talk here for many years now. I don't think many folks realize how dead the site was overall before this change, and are now acting as if it's all of a sudden dead, just because they see a new format that was built to try to get more local talk going, that hasn't been here for years. How many rivalry game posts have you seen on Va. Preps over the last few years that weren't about SWVA or Valley teams?
The Salem fans weren't posting a few weeks before the change because it was summer and not much to discuss. Salem was awesome last year, there was just one team more awesome.@AMHERST #1 Before the change to the current format, the most chatty discussions on these boards came from 2A and 1A folks mostly from the SWVA area. Thanks I have only been on the Piedmont side, now I know to look on the Valley side also, ugg, very frustrating@AMHERST #1 Before the change to the current format, the most chatty discussions on these boards came from 2A and 1A folks mostly from the SWVA area. I post on Piedmont for Lynchburg & Valley for Roanoke stuff. These are the only 2 boards I follow & I really only like 3/4a myself since the overwhelming majority of area teams fit in those classifications. Thanks I have only been on the Piedmont side, now I know to look on the Valley side also, ugg, very frustrating
