Does Rutgers have any plans to sell the unused student tickets for Saturday? I can only assume that a 12PM kickoff during Thanksgiving weekend will not produce excitement among students. Can Rutgers utilize the dynamic pricing for these tickets and sell them for $25?

It will be enough of a challenge to sell non-student tickets to this game. How many people do you think are trying to get into the stadium on Saturday?

Students didn't attend the last game and you can expect even fewer (i.e., next to none aside from the band, cheerleaders, and dance team) this time around.

But the above poster is correct, there will be 1000s of general public tix that won't be sold/used this Saturday.

They should be giving student tickets away to every Pop Warner football team in NJ to fill the student section, it's never too early to get them hooked. But, that would make too much sense and hey, maybe the students will all come at noon on Thankgiving weekend and fill the section -__-

If we don't change coaches, I'll be able to get $8 tickets in the future just like pre-2006.

They're not getting hooked watching 2 pretty lousy teams play in a half empty stadium.

Can't just give away your product for free anymote. Sell end zone seats at a discount (if anyone actually wants em) but no freebies.

Clemson actually put a tarp over where the band sits before the game.

They should put a tarp over the student section with a FEMA logo on it

I could just picture the news headline that follows: "Rutgers Students Flooded out of High Point Solutions Stadium".

Aid for recovery/rebuilding may be immediately forthcoming, or delayed one or two years.

I'd give them away for free plus a t-shirt to any local pop warner teams.

Have you forgotten what its like being a kid? If you are 10 or 12 and playing pop warner seeing a college football game/player is great, regardless of how good or bad the team is. They aren't as jaundiced as us older folks. Christ they look up to the local HS players, forget about going to a big stadium and seeing them perform, the same guys you may have seen on TV the week before.

RU knows there will be a LOT of empty seats, they really should start calling up the local football programs and handing them out.

Sell them to whom, anyway? The "droves" of fans seeking tickets for this freakin'
game?
