Im no business owner, but I think those who are need to start making a consolidated, organized, and concerted effort to push back and end this stupidity. Especially those in small business where yours and your family's livelihood are on the line. So far there hasnt been enough pushback here in KY that Im aware of outside of an isolated business, or the lawsuit brought forth by the 3 business owners that AG Cameron signed on.

At some point you have to call Andy's bluff, and if thousands of small businesses statewide just say to hell with you Gov and open up, he will have neither the support or the resources to do anything about it.

At that point, you look at what he did with the protestors (or rather, what he didnt do)....he chooses to take extreme action to shutdown law abiding businesses after all that....**** hits the fan.

De Santis is the ****. He’s way better than Governor Party Tits from Ny who killed more New Yorkers than Bin Laden
DeSantis grew up in Dunedin. My daughter was born in Dunedin and is a couple of years older. He played Little League baseball for Dunedin and they went to the Little League World Series. He was Captain of his college team, Yale University. From there to Harvard for his law degree. He also served in the U.S. Navy and part of his assignment was prosecuting terrorist at Guantanamo. From there to the Navy Seal Team One. He managed to pick up a Bronze Star from service in Iraq.

U.S. Representative and then Governor of Florida. Quite a resume for a 42 year old. We are lucky he is our governor.

How did that go? We are about to have to go through that also.

I wish your family and yourself well.
It was complicated due to the lockdown. She actually had moved in a few weeks before we were able to go down. Apparently, KY just opened nursing homes for visitors. She had to quarantine for two weeks, so we got there as soon as she was out of quarantine.

Her nursing home did 30 minute visits that had to be scheduled. They had two areas in the lobby blocked off for that. We were not able to see any of the rest of the facility. Scheduling was a hassle too. My wife had called and got us scheduled for our first day there. Subsequent visits were scheduled on site. Don’t be late, because they will push you out for the next visitor. They did not want anything brought in, but will allow things to be shipped there. Anything that is shipped gets held in quarantine for a day. My wife had to argue to have them accept things that we brought. A website with guidance would have been very helpful, but they did not have that. Clothing has to be ran through their laundry before going to the resident. That means it has to have their name written in it with permanent marker. This complicated buying anything new that may not fit.

Sadly, it is all very similar to a prison. Visit in your 30 min time slot, everything goes through the warden’s office.

My advice is that if you can meet face to face with your family member before going in, it will be a lot easier. Setup clothing, phone, personal items before entering. See if the home will give you a list of guidelines for how they do things. See if you can get room measurements and layout. My mil wanted a lift chair, so we went to the furniture store and ordered it. We asked the home for measurements on what would fit, they just said “recliner size”, but no specific measurements. She also want shelves on her walls, but without seeing the space, it is difficult to figure out.

Other than bars, what exactly is still shut down? I've gone everywhere I've wanted to go all summer.

Best of luck to you in the future. I know your stores will be very successful. Florida is small business friendly and a great place to grow your company. You picked a nice area. (I am biased to the Gulf Coast)

Thanks it’s been amazing I have been here almost 15 years now and we started our business as one location with my father and I as the only employees. I love this area as well you can be as successful as you want to be. Appreciate the kind words.

Does Biden even know theres an election in November?

He may come out of them basement at some point before the election. Doubt it tho.

Honestly—I feel bad for the guy. Anyone who watches him and is truly honest, it’s clear the guy is not all there. I’m the first to admit Trump does some weird shite but Biden is legit gone he’s a puppet.

The guy who ran against him Gilliam? Was popped in a hotel room with crystal meth and a male prostitute a few months back. He was hailed as the coming savior for the dems. Not so much but it still makes me laugh when I think about it tho.

Sounds like what we used to call an All-American boy.

Now such people are called Nazis by the losers who came up earning participation trophies. True story.

Is it true that most people in public have been wearing masks but cases keep rising the last few weeks? I don’t keep up so I don’t know.

It would almost be like the masks people wear aren’t really effective at all, if I didn’t know better.
Guess what? You don’t know better.

Many restaurants still, attendance for sports, bars, I assume titty bars, there were other places in the last month I tried but were local businesses. They very well could be closed of their own volition however I will grant you.

I went to Shilito today and the kids Little League baseball was going, playgrounds were full as well, so you could be right today. Honestly I've been working, hitting Kroger, occasional trip to Lowes, grill out on weekends, and play music so I haven't been out and about man about town like normally I would be.

So, Cincinnati Reds and Lexington Legends is my answer [laughing]

It’s insane to think that Covid cases rise BECAUSE of masks. Masks, properly worn, greatly reduce the risk of infection. It’s not rocket science. The infection spreads because people go to bars, tight quarters etc in spite of appeals to social distance and wear a mask.

BTW, I’m as pro business as anyone, am I voted for Trump, but there’s no law against being conservative and following medical guidelines whether it comes from Andy or The Surgeon General.

Just mask up and stop this **** in its tracks. Let’s get this economy rocking like it was before this Kung Flu AIDS happened.

I didn’t say they rise because of masks. I don’t know how they work, but your diagram helps a little. Just caught me by surprise how many cases there still are when every time I go out in public now 100% of people are wearing em and have been for over a month now.

Back in early March right before **** hit the fan I was in Denver for 10 days. I was sick for a couple of days when I got back but nothing terrible.

Found out today that one of the people I spent a few days with in a conference room, who got sick and left after those days, tested positive for Covid shortly after.

At this point I’m pretty sure I had it too. Didn’t bother to get tested at the time because it was so early and I wasn’t that sick.

My guess is a lot of people who go to Sturgis will get it, but it won’t amount to much in the way of deaths and hospitalizations.

You know, just like the flu and H1N1 and SARS and pretty much every other virus.

That’s just how a virus works. I put on a mask as I’m walking in the door of an establishment. Once I’m in there, I’m touching a bunch of **** that hundreds of other people have also touched. As I cross the threshold of the door upon exit, the mask comes off and I go about my day. The mask probably helps airborne transmission while in the store, but after that? No telling.

That’s because it’s not 100 percent of people wearing them...and not socially distancing. They don’t give a **** and will end up getting everything shut down.

If only the China virus had a high recovery rate... say, like 99.96%...

Im not getting into this one, but where do some of you get these idiotic numbers? Propaganda. That’s where. If you can simply do multiplication and division, you can easily see the huge flaw in that number. I’m even embarrassed for the people that liked your post.

100% of the people I see in my hometown wear em out and cases haven’t really dropped in weeks so... man I can’t be everywhere at once so I go off what I see. I require em in my store. All stores require em. Numbers haven’t changed. Something is up.

For millions to die, like 900 million would have to be infected. That’s almost triple our population.

the way fake medical experts are counting fake China virus deaths. I’m surprised that number isn’t in the millions already

Covid has basically cured heart disease/cancer/deaths by accidents/over doses/pneumonia and the flu

Either way, Trump said he saved millions by locking us down. At least admit he was dead wrong on that.

You can have your dick lodged in his gullet 24/7 and still not agree with every utterance he mutters.

Tony f**** Hillary Clinton Fraudci

Trump was only repeating the numbers Fraudci gave him. The only wrong Trump did was listening to that liberal piece of ****
