For those that might be too dense to understand why I asked the question-

Consistency is the enemy of bias. Bias is not a level playing field. If it wasn't a penalty when KC did it, it's not a penalty when Philly did it. If they didn't call it all game, but call it in the last 2 minutes and only called it against one team, that's bias.

The referees are supposed to be part of the field, not impediments or obstacles to it. If an official jumped up and swatted a ball down on a given play, then simpletons would realize the role that bias shouldn't play in sports officiating. It's no different if they eat their whistle all game and then decide to call it in a pivotal moment.

The truth is that it's not illegal for the leagues to rig outcomes. We talked about this at lunch also. They are technically "entertainment" businesses and not actually "sports" which makes a big difference in how they can operate. I don't expect them to be fairly officiated and haven't for some time. I will call it out, however, because a LOT OF PEOPLE don't realize how things have changed.

Exactly this ^

Funny thing is if this was UK vs UGA and same situation, there’d be 100 page thread calling for an officials head, emails to MB, SEC, etc.

Just never realized there were so many PM fanboys within the UK community.

He grabbed the guy's jersey. Clear holding. I know people say that you can't make that call in that position of the game, but if that is defensive holding on the first play of the game, it is defensive holding on the last play of the game. Full disclosure, I bet on the Eagles and wish that the holding hadn't happened.
Agree to disagree. Jersey get held and tugged every play if every game. It didn’t affect the play as the defender let the jersey go immediately. Mahomes made a bailout throw and then decided to try to get a late flag for the first down. Unfortunately the weak referee fell for it.

He’s the new QB star. Everyone will kiss his ***.

Now that Nrsay is gone, the NFL has to have a face at QB. They’ve found it. Nobody will be able to touch him for years now. He will draw more Roughing penalties than anyone. Book it.

The fact that the defender is a man and can admit he tugged his jersey doesn’t mean the call was correct.
The call was right. It WAS holding. But again. That happens a lot. And never gets called.

There was not one holding call on the defense the entire game../and only one pass interference

So to call that level of iffy holding call after 57 minutes of not one call…is really terrible imo

As an Eagles fan all I can say is.....its Wednesday and that game is still all I can think about.

I doubted Jalen Hurts all season....to the point of telling a Cowboys friend of mine that I'd take Dak Prescott over him.....boy was I an idiot. I hate that he played as well as he did while putting the team on his back only to lose to the greatest football talent we've ever seen.

I was a doubter but now I'm all in on Hurts. The kid is a winner at every level. With 2 first round draft picks and 40 million in cap space its time to finally go all in and get this thing done. Excited for next season.
